Letran SC spearheads YSEALI Manila 2017

Members of the Letran Student Council, with the support of the YSEALI YOUnified Philippines and Manila Youth Development Welfare Bureau, merged with 50 student leaders from 18 universities around Metro Manila for the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) Manila 2017 program to discuss different methods to address the environmental challenges that the Metro is about to face.

Out of 174 submitted entries, Institute of Communication’s (iCOMM) very own "Nakauwi Na" has been selected as one of the 12 finalists running for the Best Short Feature in this year's Cinemalaya. Made by fourth year Communication students last school year, "Nakauwi Na" follows Mang Jerry as he finds ways to earn enough money to get his son, a victim of extrajudicial killings, out of the funeral home.
