To the ray of sunshine in Muralla

Undeniably, a skipper is the one who carries the cross and Kurt Reyson has resonated with this statement as the current captain of the Letran Knights.

From being a Letran Squire to being a Knight, the guard surely has a colorful experience in representing the blue, red, and white.
Reyson also took part in the championships in Seasons 95 and 97 and in what seems to be his breakout year for Letran, he managed to tally an average of 10.4 points, 4.2 boards, and 2.6 assists in Season 98; notably, it is also the season where they bagged their 20th title.

But just like the weather, one may be inconsistent and can potentially fall short to the duties that they ought to uphold, just like what happened to the Davao del Sur-local in his final playing year, the 99th season of NCAA.

Reyson suffered a hamstring injury during their game against EAC Generals in the second round of the eliminations and it has been announced that he will be missing the remainder of the current season.

But it was just a different story today for he was not able to fight his last for the Intramuros-established team against their archrivals San Beda Red Lions as he was advised not to play after failing to secure a doctor’s clearance.

Despite the highs and lows that he faced with Letran, it is beyond doubt that his contributions are enough for him to be celebrated, especially now that he took his last dance with Letran.
