Defending champions CEIT proved that they want to continue their run as they hack out two championships and a basketball win in a day.
Letramurals 2023 had now begun inside, even outside the Colegio premises, where students indulged themselves as they enjoyed various sports events to watch as well as to cheer on their respective departments.
Such events conducted were the Mr. and Ms. Letramurals held at the Colegio grounds. Basketball at the Manila Bulletin Indoor Court, Volleyball at the High School Grounds, and lastly, Billiards and Bowling that were held at the Playdium.
Billiards
The CEIT department acquired the top, with its players John Jelzine Dumat-ol and Antonette Manalo.
Followed by the CBAA 2, composed of the duo of Riel Janssen Barcelon and Angelica Nicole Andal.
Lastly, by the CBAA 1 which were represented by Carl Justin Tesoro along with Melajie Cabatian.
Mr. and Ms. Letramurals
CBAA 1’s Djanbien Pastrano, who showed off his Racing attire as he was hailed as the Mr. Letramurals along with Micah Ubaldo from CBAA II who arrayed with her Horseback Riding outfit won as the Ms. Letramurals.
Bowling
Another victor was bagged by the CEIT as they ranked first, composed of Matt David Obiena, Austine Maurico, Jhann Cliffer Rombano, Lara Faye Natividad, Ishmael Vega, Lord Roland Mojica, and Seane David Atibagos.
CBAA 2 settled for silver, whose representatives were Vian Rich Dela Cruz, Marianne Rivera, Mandeep Brar, Raiza May Robles, Mark Valenzuela, and Vincent Panaligan.
Lastly, CLAS placed third with its composition of players Crisologo Contridas, Hans Bennet Narag, Mark Allain Manatad, Roi Vincent Pegason, Justin Russel Facundo, and Denise Michaela Surio.
Basketball
CBAA 2 dealt CLAS a 63-point rout to secure their first win in the campaign.
Contrasting to the blowout victory by CBAA 2, CEIT escaped CBAA 1, 53-50 to share the lead standings with CBAA 2.
CEIT and CBAA 2 shares an unblemished 1-0 slate in the standings while CBAA 1 and CLAS fall to 0-1.
Later on schedules for both basketball and volleyball within the day were postponed due to inclement weather and will be continued tomorrow.
