Drop the pen and paper, The LANCE Placement Examinations 2018 will now be computer-based!

If you have the passion, commitment, and the willingness to write for the students, drop by at CL3, St. Vincent Ferrer Bldg, on April 11 and 12. Examinations will start from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the said dates.

For Photo Editor:

Applicants must provide a photography portfolio stored in a flash drive.

The portfolio should include shots of different events as subject matter.

They must also take two examinations: A test in writing captions and cutlines, and a skills test in basic photo editing.

For Design Editor:

Applicants must submit a portfolio containing their sample works/designs.

They must be proficient in both Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop.

With given materials, applicants must also come up with a six-page sample layout of a newspaper. The sample should reflect their vision of the overall makeup of The LANCE for the next term.
