Showing off an all-new and more prominent stand in from their debut last season, the Letran Cyberknights Esports Society is back with huge success, equipped by improved play by the whole team in the Collegiate Center for Esports (CCE) Season 2.

At present, LCES is tied on top of the standings with an 8-1 record which allowed them to enter the finals round of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang event. Sharing them the number 1 seed is their neighbor and the defending champions of last season, the Lyceum of the Philippines University.

"Nung nanalo kami vs LPU sa semifinals ng upperbracket, naiiyak kami sa saya and even before that game napepressure kami since sila lang yung team na tumalo samin nung elimination, pero now going to the championship, mas confident na kami as a team since we know na we worked hard and mas gutom kami mag-champion”, said Mark Raphael Arellano, A.K.A Choco Mael O in an interview with The LANCE, commenting on their recent huge win against LPU in the semis.

“Ang mindset namin as a team during practice and during competition is that we’re here to compete and to win. It's either we win or we learn. Every time we lose, we should learn from our mistakes and bangon kami next game”, Arellano adds as he comments on the teams’ dedication, will, and perseverance to keep moving above and beyond as they enter the finals. Even with any mishaps, mistakes, or losses, they treat it as a learning experience

The Cyberknights are bound for greatness as they are set for a rematch against LPU, now in the grand finals of the MLBB the CCE tomorrow, November 26, at SM Mall of Asia in Pasay.
