The Colegio de San Juan de Letran Lady Knights extended their winning streak by defeating the Lyceum of the Philippines University Lady Pirates in a 3-0 blowout, 25-22, 25-17, 25-23, held last Friday, May 2, at the FilOil Centre, San Juan City.
San Juan City — The Colegio de San Juan de Letran Lady Knights delivered a commanding performance as they swept the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA Lady Altas, 27-25, 25-23, 25-21, in NCAA Season 100 Women’s Volleyball on April 26, 2025 at the FilOil EcoOil Centre.
Colegio de San Juan de Letran withstood a gripping four-set matchup against the EAC Generals, 27-25, 19-25, 25-22, 25-13, to resurge in the winning column, during the NCAA Season 100 second elimination round on April 29 at the FilOil EcoOil Centre.
The Letran Knights opened the second round of the NCAA season 100 volleyball tournament with a pulse-pounding loss to the San Beda Red Spikers 25-20, 23-25, 25-18, 17-25, 27-25 on April 22 held at the FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan.
Colegio de San Juan de Letran emerged victorious at the expense of San Sebastian Golden Stags in a sweep, 25-18, 26-24, 25-21, during the NCAA Season 100 first elimination round on April 11 at the San Sebastian College - Recoletos Gym.
Like the extreme heat index, the climax of this year’s Letramurals is also intense as it featured championship bouts in volleyball and basketball, along with fun games and street dance on Friday at the campus grounds.
On the third day of Letramurals, April 10, intense basketball and volleyball battles lit up the campus grounds as teams fiercely competed for coveted spots in the championship matches. Meanwhile, the competitive spirit extended indoors as board game tournaments began, featuring chess in Room 216, Scrabble in Room 215, Word Boggle at Balagtas Hall, the e-sport Mobile Legends in Computer Lab 2, as well as billiards and bowling at Playdium in Quezon City.
The scorching sun was no match for the blazing spirit of the Letranites as Day 2 of the Letramurals 2025 delivered intense action and dominant victories across the Colegio grounds. With passion and pride fueling every play, players from different departments battled it out in basketball and volleyball.
A vibrant surge of departmental pride marked the start of Letramurals 2025 under the theme “Champion Unleashed: Igniting the Competitive Spirit,” as students flooded the Colegio grounds.
The Letran Lady Knights fell to their knees against the top-seed University of Perpetual Help System Dalta Lady Altas in a five set outing, 25-23, 23-25, 25-14, 22-25, 13-15, in the NCAA Season 100 Volleyball Tournament held last Thursday at the University of Perpetual Help Gymnasium, Las Piñas City.
