THE OFFICE of the Vice President for Academic Affairs released a memorandum on March 20,  stating that the Colegio will not be suspending its online classes amidst the metro-wide lockdown in Luzon due to COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the memorandum posted, the Colegio shall not suspend online classes but are expanding and encouraging the adoption of alternative modes of teaching and learning which includes offline requirements such as handwritten and typewritten outputs.

In addition, it states that any learning constraint and inabilities related to the community quarantine shall not be taken against the student nor reflected unduly in their grades.

However, students were not pleased with the decision.

Shortly after the memo was posted, students shared their utmost dismay and #SuspendOnlineClassesLetran went trending on Twitter.

We did our part already. We tried ways on how to make YOUR online classes effective(kahit walang proper implementation). Tinulungan din namin mga prof. Now, do your part & hear us out. #SuspendOnlineClassesLetran
