Colegio de San Juan de Letran cruised past San Sebastian College-Recoletos with a commanding 2-0 sweep, securing their spot in the playoffs of the NCAA 100 Esports Kickoff Mobile Legends showdown held on June 12.

Game 1 showcased the dominance of Letran, with SAN DIEGO’s first-pick Arlott proving instrumental in setting the pace of the match, while ACERA’s Baxia played a key role in securing crucial pick-offs that kept San Sebastian on the back foot throughout the game.

The Knights' relentless pressure culminated in a decisive push at the 11:05 mark, where MERCADO, using Claude, secured a triple kill, followed by CORPUZ’s Kimmy notching a double kill. The wipeout of the Golden Stags paved the way for the Cyberknights to close out the first game with a dominant 20-4 victory.

CORPUZ earned the MVP honors, finishing with an outstanding 5-0-9 KDA.

San Sebastian came out strong in Game 2, showing early aggression and momentum, but Letran quickly turned the tide. LOYOLA’s Yi Sun-shin secured two crucial turtle objectives, while SAN DIEGO’s Uranus provided valuable space and frontline presence. The turning point came with the impactful combo of ACERA’s Akai and CORPUZ’s Chang’e, whose coordinated engagements pushed back the Golden Stags, allowing the Knights to take control of the map, dismantle turrets, and seize the lead.

At the 15:15 mark, Letran systematically shattered all of San Sebastian's inhibitor turrets, dismantling their defenses and opening up the base. LOYOLA then delivered the finishing blow, pulling off a decisive triple kill that extinguished any remaining hope for the Golden Stags, ending the game with a convincing 15-7 scoreline.

While it was a team effort, LOYOLA stood out as the MVP of the game with his Yi Sun-shin, providing vision and consistent damage output en route to a 5-1-8 KDA that helped power Letran to victory.

The win added three valuable points to the Cyberknights' group stage tally, locking in their playoff berth. They now set their sights on their next matchup against the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde on July 13.
