The Colegio honored their recent topnotchers of Nutritionist-Dietitian board exams and Electrical Engineering board exams through a thanksgiving day, on Friday, September 7.

Melvin Bernardino, the first placer in the recent Nutritionist-Dietitian exams, was overwhelmed as the celebration is unexpectedly grand.

“Normally yung feel kasi na ‘to, parang Paskong Arriba or parang nanalo tayo ng [NCAA] championship kasi parang ganito din yung feeling namin nung mga panahon na yun kaya sobrang saya kasi ito naman acads naman ‘to, iba naman to,” the first placer said.

Aside from the overwhelming feeling, both students shared how it is important for them to offer the success with the Letran community.

“Parang hindi lang kami yung nag-top parang buong Letran nag-top,” he remarked.

Eljhon Capili, the second placer in the recent Electrical Engineering exams lauded the Colegio for their extraordinary act of acknowledging the students’ academic feat.

Bernardino was hesitant to believe that such event will commence when he was first told about it.

For this successful event, both Bernardino and Capili is thankful beyond words.

“Salamat sa pakikipag-celebrate sa amin and sana maging inspiration ‘to sa kanila na maniwala sila na Letran can do it,” the EE topnotcher said.

The ND topnotcher also encouraged the Colegio to maintain these kinds of events acknowledging academic achievements above anything else.
