Letranites from the collegiate department gather at the St. Thomas Grounds as they participate in “Rosarium,” a human rosary event spearheaded by the Letran Student Council on Thursday, October 12, 2023.
In an interview with The LANCE, the LSC’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), Ramon Kyle Abay-Abay, shares that the event is an extension of the Letranite’s special devotion to the Lady of the Most Holy Rosary of La Naval.
According to Abay-Abay, “Rosarium” is an avenue for those students who were unable to attend the Grand Procession last Sunday, October 8, 2023 at the Sto. Domingo Church.
During the event, the Vice President of Religious Affairs (VPRA), Fr. Stephen Mari La Ja, OP., shares in his opening remarks that the human rosary is an event intended to build a community established by faith while giving an avenue for students to reflect and connect with their fellow Letranites.
The students were immersed with the presence of the Holy Spirit as they prayed as one Letran community who were able to connect among themselves through the guidance of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
