President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Vice President Sara Duterte's approval and trust ratings decreased by double digits in Pulse Asia's Survey in September 2023.
President Marcos Jr.'s approval rating dropped by 15 points, now 65 from the previous 80 points while VP Duterte is down to 73 from 84, falling by 12 points since June.
Trust ratings of the executive branch also suffered decline, with President Marcos Jr.'s ratings falling to 71 from 85, and VP Duterte's 75 from 87 in June.
VP Duterte's performance ratings however, remain higher than President Marcos Jr.
In the same poll, both approval and trust ratings for the legislative and judiciary branches likewise fell since the June 2023 survey.
Other officials such as Senate President Zubiri's approval rating also fell to 50 from 56, House Speaker Romualdez is down to 41 from 52, and Chief Justice Gesmundo's 34 from 44 points in the recent poll.
Regardless of this decline, Pulse Asia said that the most recent evaluation of the nation's top officials still shows that Filipinos are satisfied with their job performance.
The poll was conducted from September 10 to 14, from all geographical areas and socio-economic groups.
