The Corsa Tires had a quick start to defeat the Letran Knights, 77-94 at the Bola.TV AsiaBasket Las Pinas Championship, held at the city's Villar Coliseum.

The Intramuros-based squad ended their AsiaBasket campaign with this loss.

The Knights tried to rise through the ranks, increasing their savagery and regaining their confidence, after the big gap at first quarter 19-32.

Kurt Reyson led the way for them with 23 points, five rebounds, and eight assists. He played their most excellent game with Paolo Javillonar, who had 14 points, two assists, and seven rebounds.

In the middle of the quarter, Reyson gave out jump shots. Kyle Tolentino ignited the offense with eight points, two rebounds, and three assists in his brief appearance.

Letran's adrenaline rush drives the game's emotional roller coaster. Tensions rose as Knights were struggling on defense, but Kurt Reyson, Kevin Santos, and Javillonar made points to expand the third-to-fourth-quarter margin.

But Justine Sanchez ended the pursuit by leading the Corsa Tires with 25 points, four rebounds, and five assists with Gerald Anderson who committed 14 points, two rebounds, and four assists, while Tony Ynot had 15 points, 12 rebounds, and four assists.
