Letran Cheering Squad arose triumphant as they were hailed as the 1st runner up in the VistaMall All Cheers Competition held yesterday at Balanga, Bataan.

Caloocan All Stars were awarded as the grand champions while the Cavite Patriots bagged the 2nd runner up award.

The Intramuros-based cheering team, who battled it out against seven competitors, displayed consistency as they featured a SB19-centric performance, linear to what they have shown in the NCAA Season 98 Cheerleading Competitions.

Jake Romero, LCS’ team captain, shared that they have rested for two months and that they only trained for the competition for less than three weeks, with some of their members coming from province.

Some of the mishaps that they have encountered is the weather which affected their training schedule and some of their members are injured, but still fought.

“Hindi matatawaran ang suporta na binibigay ng Letran community sa amin. It is such an honor and pride to represent Letran in every competition.” Romero expressed gratitude to the Letran community.
