The Letran Knights have successfully bounced back from their recent loss against Lyceum in the FilOil EcoOil Preseason League by hacking out a come-from-behind 68-66 victory against the EAC Generals earlier today in San Juan City.

Center Pao Javillonar spearheaded the Knights with a double-double tally of 16 markers and 10 boards, followed by Deo Cuajao and Nicko Fajardo who delivered 13 points apiece.

Both teams battled fiercely during the last minutes of the match but Letran showed their grit as Kevin Santos and Kurt Reyson teamed up to drill the winning shot of the match.

As the Intramuros-based squad was struggling in imposing offense, the Generals were able to carve out a gap as much as 16 in the third frame through Nat Cosejo’s efforts.

But Letran being Letran, regrouped to fix their offense and were able to turn the tables through a Nicko Fajardo layup, 60-58.

Cosejo led the scorers with 24 points on top of six rebounds while getting help from Jan Luciano who wound up 14 markers.
