Colegio de San Juan de Letran defeated College of St. Benilde ahead of a tough battle against Perpetual Help in a four-setter 19-25, 25-21, 25-21, 25-15.

Coming from a first-set defeat that resulted from eight errors, the Knights went on to win the final three sets headed by the best player of the game Angel Canzana who put up 13 points, nine excellent digs, and four receptions and improve to 3-3.

Vince Himzon led the team in scoring on the other hand, with 18 points built on 14 attacks and four blocks. Letran is set to face an undefeated Perpetual squad who are looking to book the first seat in the final four.

On the other hand, the Lady Knights failed to stop the streaking Lady Blazers who rolled to get its 25th straight dub.

Letran, who failed to deprive CSB of its seventh win of the season, was led by rookie Judiel Nitura with 11 points on five attacks and six service aces. Lea Tapang contributed 11 points as well, while beach volleyball champ Lara Mae Silva put up 14 excellent digs and 18 excellent receptions for the Lady Knights who fell to 4-2.

Letran is set to face the Lady Altas who are coming from a sweep of San Beda, in hopes of furthering its chances of entering the final four. The Lady Knights' matchup is scheduled at 2:30 PM, while their Men's counterpart is at 4:30 PM, both at the San Andres Sports Complex in Manila and live on GTV/GMA Sports.
