The Letran Lady Knights clinched a twice-two-beat advantage coming into the semifinals of the NCAA Season 98 Beach Volleyball in Subic, Zambales.
Letran beat the College of St. Benilde Lady Blazers in three sets, 11-21, 22-20, 15-11 in their first match of the day. The Lady Knights were able to bounce back from a double-digit loss in the first set, eventually besting the Taft-based squad in sets 2 and 3.
The Lady Knights continued their winning ways in their second game, besting the EAC Lady Generals in another 3-set match, 21-13, 21-23, 15-9. This was Letran's 8th win in 9 games, finishing as the number 2 seed at the end of the eliminations, only trailing the unbeaten Perpetual Help Lady Altas.
Letran will be facing the EAC Lady Generals in the semifinals tomorrow, January 21.
MEN’S DIVISION
The Letran Knights lost to the CSB Blazers in 2 sets, 14-21, 18-21.
In their afternoon game against EAC, the Knights faced defeat in two sets, 10-21, 16-21.
The Knights ended their beach volleyball campaign with a 3-6 record.
