President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. signed Executive Order No. 7, officially declaring the voluntary wearing of face masks on indoor premises on Friday, October 28, 2022, .

The executive order allows the optional  use of facemasks while reiterating the continued implementation of the public health emergency amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The order also stated the wearing of facemasks is still mandatory on public transportation, medical transport vehicles, and healthcare facilities.

Unvaccinated individuals, senior citizens, and persons with comorbidities are still highly encouraged to wear facemasks.

The DOH earlier claimed that facemask is mandatory to reduce the transmission of the Omicron XBB subvariant and XBC variant in the Philippines.

Note to Letranites: Wearing of Face Masks is still Mandatory within the premises of the Colegio. The No-Mask-No-Entry Policy is still in effect. Let us adhere to safeguarding those around us from the constant threat of Covid-19.
