Students from the College of Business Administration and Accountancy once again brought good products to the Colegio as they kicked-off yet another Negosyo Letranista at the St. Thomas Grounds last December 11-14.

Spearheaded by the Asst. Dean JC Timajo of the College of Business Administration and Accountancy (CBAA), Negosyo Letranista promotes an avenue for CBAA students’ products and services that are of quality for public consumption.

Meanwhile, third-year BS Entrepreneurship James Casiño, who participated the event, said that the said activity was a success. “I can say this batch of Negosyo Letranista is more competitive than the past Negosyo Letranista Exhibitors. Despite the pressure of 1-week preparation dahil entrepreneur students kami, we took the opportunity to exhibit our own business,” shared Casiño.

Previously, Negosyo Letranista was held at Robinsons Place Manila but this time around, they were able to bring it back home. “May possibility na hindi mapuntahan ng elementary students and hindi naman required mag-visit ang high school [students] doon pero 'yung batch na ito, nakapagexhibit kami for the first time sa sarili naming school, naipakita namin ito sa mga elementary, high school and college students. At syempre naranasan namin ang reality ng pagbebenta at pagpapakilala ng aming mga produkto sa market,” Casiño said.

For their preparation, they were given a limited time but they managed to prepare it gracefully. Casiño said that a lot of preparations were done for this event.

“Events like these require time and serious planning. But dito talaga makikita ang pagiging competitive ng isang estudyante, kung papaano niya gagawin ito at paghahandaan in a limited time. Kasama na ang budgeting, advertising, and of course pag-aasikaso sa pag-mamarket,” he ended.

CBAA programs such as Marketing Management, Financial Management, Operations Management, Accountancy and Entrepreneurship were a part of the said event.

Meanwhile, the previous Negosyo Letranista that happened this school year featured over 90 booths of all kinds of products last September 11-15 at Robinsons Place Manila.
