INTRAMUROS, MANILA - The Colegio de San Juan de Letran Knights are set to begin their NCAA Season 98 campaign tomorrow, September 14, 2022, at the FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan facing the JRU Heavy Bombers at the 12-noon matchup.

Coming from an undefeated championship run last season, the Knights are hungrier than ever as they look forward to the ever-elusive three-peat.

As for veteran guard Kurt Reyson, defense and discipline are the keys for success. “Ang gagawin namin para makuha ang three-peat is sipagan pa namin yung depensa namin kasi nga nawala na yung mga scorer.”, referring to the departure of ROY-MVP Rhenz Abando, Finals MVP Jeo Ambohot, starting forward Allen Mina, and bigman Christian Fajarito. “Yung puntos darating naman yan pag maganda yung depensa na mapakita namin bawat laro” the guard from Digos adds.

The same goes for the debuting Kobe Monje, who is ready to step up and fill in the bigger roles they are to get this season.” Kailangan namin mag doble effort sa defense namin kasi yun talaga yung nagpapanalo sa bawat game”, mirrorring Reyson. As for what we can expect from him, “Ibibigay ko lang yung best effort ko every game, like defense, rebound, kasi darating din naman yung points kapag maganda yung depensa na maipapakita ko.”

Game tickets are now available at the Letran Finance Office for the following seats: Patron- P250, and Lower Box- P150. All games of the Letran Knights are also live on GTV every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
