The Knights ended a two-game skid after dominating the Chiefs, 97-84, Thursday at the Filoil Flying V Centre.

“It was hard to bounce back after that back-to-back loss,” said Head Coach Bonnie Tan.

“But look at Bonbon Batiller, he really stepped up,” added Tan.

Bonbon Batillier spearheaded the Knights with 18 points, two rebounds, and four assists while Larry Muyang and Jeo Ambohot both chipped in 15 points each.

Letran found their groove and started to pull away in a 13-point lead with 3:27 left in the third to take a 69-56 advantage.

Beginning of the fourth canto, Letran kept their opponents at bay with a 16-point lead, 82-66.

The Knights held off the Chiefs from that point to take the third spot with a 10-6 scorecard.

Tan also expressed his team’s determination to make it to the final four despite back-to-back defeats.

“Actually, that twice in a row loss was a downer. We aren’t thinking about that second spot anymore,” said Tan.

“Our only target now is to make it to the Final Four. We’re just thinking about how to win our last two games and gain back our momentum,” added Tan.
